Cycling Trip on 18th Nov 06

Who is that guy?????, any ideas!!!! make a wild guess and get a wild prize!!!
Who else, must be Steven, he really enjoying himself and the first phrase that come from him " I LIKE IT " and he was saying all the way right up to Marina Bay.


You can find all these excerise machine in one of the cycling track and so have fun but don't exert yourself.

Make a guess, who they are? I know, I Know, the young lady must be Jasmine and standing next to her must be Wendy, the guys are......... oohs I know, Gabriel and Steven. One of them is missing, of course, that me, taking this foto, so silly!! ha ha.

This morning, we went on another cycling trip starting from Amk at around 8am and move toward Bishan Park and follow the Kallang Park Connector cycling track and reach Marina Bay in 3 hrs, phew!! Wow!! We make it and everyone of us will say "I LIKE IT". As we travel along the stretch of cycling track, the air is very much fresher and even the river very much cleaner and clearer and even you can see shoal of fishes swimming!! We even came across iguana lizard about 18 inches long. Everyone ones of us really enjoy the trips and we even think of travelling in the night the next time, any takers???

Botak Jones is the brainchild of an american that promises to bring authentic american food to the heartland. the ang mo kio branch is its second branch, after tuas. business here is so good, many customers actually wait around patiently until the stall opens at 12 noon and close at 10 pm. with all the hype, the food had better be damn good! They are close on MONDAY.
the menu was made up of sheets of photocopied yellow paper stapled together. and it sure was an extensive one! every item had a descriptive paragraph that followed, written in a light-hearted and very informal style. they also had the menu on a chalkboard right in front of the stall. the staff were all extremely energetic and friendly, taking care to recommend various dishes on hearing that i don’t eat beef.
one of the dishes they recommended was the swanky franky hot dog. lucky for me it was available in chicken too. so that was what i had! it was wrapped in bacon and had melted cheddar cheese on top! doesn’t that sound appetising? i didn’t even have to think twice about it!

Fun Cycling - Gabriel 600

Members of Gabriel 600 will having a fun time cycling on Saturday 21st Oct 06. We started off from Ang Mo Kio and rode toward Yishun passing by Orchid Country Club and head straight to Seletar Air Base and reached Seletar Golf Club where we have this photo taken. Then we head back home toward Jalan Kayu for some light refreshment of tea, ice milo, prata and indian rojaks. His time we head home toward Yio Chu Kang Road and reached Far Horizon in Ang Mo Kio Ave 4. We really enjoy it, as for the ladies, I think it is too far a distance for them, so the next time we organize again, with the ladies around, we try to cut short the journey.
